Before Hiring a Manifesting Coach, Try this 5 Step Process First
I was on my morning walk today listening to one of my favorite content creators who does an excellent job of explaining some of the Reality Transurfing concepts, hermetic principles, and many other philosophies.
Usually at the end of each episode, he references success stories from people he has mentored. Since I have been a student of this practice for some time and feel pretty knowledgeable, I have never felt I needed a coach. Today however, I found myself thinking maybe it wouldn’t hurt… so I did a little digging.
The price of his coaching program was not listed and I would have to “apply” to receive what appeared to be a random mentor. I knew immediately in my gut, this wasn’t for me. I felt confident that I could set up a simple routine and keep myself accountable, so as part of my work today, I’m going to do just that. And you, lucky reader, can join me for free.
Step 1. Stay Connected with your True Essence (Source) and Create from that State
I know this caption sounds vague so let’s go a little deeper. There is an amazing book called Dying to Be Me where Anita Moorjani tells her story of fighting for 4 years against cancer. When she finally decides to let go, she begins to experience organ failure. She slips into a coma and details a very enlightening NDE where she claims to have visited the other side. I can’t tell you how powerful this book is and I encourage you to read it.
Each time I have read this book, I have taken a different message depending on the state I was in when I read it. During my first reading, I was struggling with my own health and I finished the book feeling I truly did not need to fear death and that all of my loved ones who have passed are with me. This was the message I needed to hear at that time in my life and I am forever grateful the book was given to me by a friend.
During my second read I was training as a therapist and wanted to gain a better understanding of our energetic bodies and how emotions need to be expressed so they have an outlet and do not get stuck. I remember thinking that the fear she felt had nowhere to go so it became a destructive force of energy inside of her. This helped me again during this period of my life where I was helping others work through strong negative emotions so these emotions could be released and not cause harm.
During my third reading, I was in a place of curiosity of how energy works and how we create reality around us. This time, my big takeaway was that we are love. Even though this has always been the biggest message of the book, for whatever reason, I didn’t quite understand it the way I do now.
On the other side, Anita was given a choice to return to her body. At first she was confused. She could see her body and wondered why she would ever choose to return to it. She had massive tumors, open weeping wounds, and a body so frail she could barely lift her head. Feeling the bliss around her, she chooses death but then has an epiphany.
“In the moment that I made the decision to go on toward death, I became aware of a new level of truth.
I discovered that since I’d realized who I really was and understood the magnificence of my true self, if I chose to go back to life, my body would heal rapidly—not in months or weeks, but in days! I knew that the doctors wouldn’t be able to find a trace of cancer if I chose to go back into my body!
How can that be? I was astounded by this revelation, and wanted to understand why.”
It was then that I understood that my body is only a reflection of my internal state.
If my inner self were aware of its greatness and connection with All-that-is, my body would soon reflect that and heal rapidly.
This message is aligned with the primary message of The Law of Assumption, Reality Transurfing, the hermetic principles, and many more. Our outer world is a reflection of our inner state of being. Anita realized that without her filters up which included all of her assumptions and beliefs she had been raised with, all that was left was pure consciousness or the awareness of love and perfection. Her body could not be sick if her inner reality matched the frequency of love. (She explains that love is the only word that comes close enough to describe this essence but still feels incomplete).
It’s easy to slip back into forgetting that we are absolute perfection. One method I suggest is to read high vibrational texts daily. Read whatever it is you connect with. If you are religious, you can read scripture. If you lean toward spirituality there are plenty of philosophical texts to choose from, and if you are more scientific, quantum physics is a great place to begin. I suggest spending a few minutes in the morning and a few minutes in the evening reading something that inspires you and connects you to Source. I have curated a list of books that will help naturally align you with a higher frequency on my Resources page.
Throughout the day, say an affirmation that works best to connect you. Something as simple as I am Love can be a powerful reminder that you are at your essence a magnificent spiritual being and creator.
Step 1 Summary:
To recap, set the foundation of your practice by maintaining a high frequency state.
Hold in your awareness that your essence or vibration is of the highest frequency.
Remain in this state as consistently as you can and you will begin to see proof all around you of the magnificence of what you are creating.
Use affirmations such as I am Love or I am Magnificent to help you stay in this state
Read inspiring texts daily
Step 2 Get Clear on What You Want
Spend some time answering the following prompts:
What do I want?
State your goal clearly.Do I really want this?
Is this your true desire or someone else’s expectation? One way to determine this is to ask yourself how comfortable you would feel if you had this thing right now.How would it feel to have this?
Describe both the positive and negative emotions you might experience if you had this.
By addressing the negative, you get a feel for whether the desire is a true match and if there are any limiting beliefs that might come up to block it.Is it worth it?
If the goal feels forced, unrealistic or uncomfortable in any way, refine the goal so that it feels right for you.
If you need help getting clear on your desire, here are 5 journal prompts to increase clarity.
What would I choose if there were no limitations?
What outcome excites me the most right now?
What do I want less of in my life?
What do I want to experience, not just achieve?
What does my ideal day look like?
Step 3 Remove Blocks or Challenging Beliefs
This one can be tricky. Common blocks include: fear, shame, anger, insecurity, feeling unworthy, blame, and perfectionism. Depending on the experiences you’ve had, especially childhood experiences, you will need to work through some of these assumptions before you can move into a state of allowing yourself to have experiences that clash with these negative beliefs.
Journaling is one way to work through them. I have a journal titled Belief that is designed to help you identify blocks and rewrite old memories so that you take away a new meaning. It’s not that you pretend that a memory doesn’t exist. What you do instead is introduce the mind to see the experience as non-threatening and even beneficial to your growth.
Step 4 Use a 2 Part Visualization Process
Now that you are clear on what you would like to manifest, I want you to choose one specific goal to focus on over the next several weeks. This goal should feel attainable for you if the limiting beliefs or blocks have been adequately addressed.
The next step is to visualize as part of a 2 part process.
The first part is designed to get you into a positive state so you can attract without negative interference. The second part is where you create a detailed visualization that feels so real you feel as though you are living in the state of the wish fulfilled.
Begin with a 10-20 minute meditation. I like to start by sitting or lying in a comfortable, quiet space. Close your eyes and focus on your breath. If thoughts of events or people pop into your mind, you can do a quick clearing using the Ho’oponopono meditation. Thinking of the person or situation you repeat, “I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.’ You can read more about this meditation here.
Once you have offered the Ho’oponopono prayer, redirect your focus on your breath. Connect with the feeling of being the magnificent co-creator that you naturally are. Understand that your essence is of the highest vibration, and that you are expressing yourself through a human body.
Once you feel relaxed, set the intention to have a particular human experience, and begin to imagine with as much detail as possible, a scene in which you are living in this experience. Be careful not to visualize as though you are an observer watching yourself, rather, get into the feeling state of the character as much as possible so it feels like you are actually there in the scene. If you struggle to visualize, my Imagination journal can be a big help.
This scene should be short. This will help you keep focused. I recommend no more than 30 seconds. Spend around 10 minutes looping the scene over and over until it feels very normal and comfortable.
Many people focus on scenes that feel very exciting; however, you want to imprint on your subconscious mind the feeling of already having it. When you think about it, if you already have something, how does it feel? It feels normal. Feeling is important however. Go back to question, How would it feel to have it? That is the feeling you are looking to feel during the visualization. Rather than feeling excited, you might feel worthy, secure, valued, peaceful, etc.
Of course it would feel very exciting to manifest this thing you want. This is why I am suggesting that you loop the scene. The more you imagine it, the more familiar it will become. Pretty soon, this scene and this life will begin to feel like it belongs to you.
Step 5 Release
Once you have reached the feeling that this scene belongs to you, you are ready to release it. Let’s circle back to Anita’s story. For four years Anita fought hard to win the battle against cancer, but it wasn’t until she let go that she was finally able to heal. She healed because her body was no longer in a fearful vibration. In the state of awareness, her body was able to go back into balance and energetically align with a natural state of health. What I learned from her experience is that from a manifesting perspective, letting go is about releasing the need to control the outcome. Instead of focusing on an I’ll be happy when… approach, live joyfully in the present moment. When you can embody the feeling of the wish fulfilled in the now, that is when your outer world begins to shift to match your inner state. Everything is a reflection. When you realize that, you are more careful what thoughts you’re thinking and what actions you are taking because this is the direction you are heading.
The universe doesn’t punish us. It shows us who we are being. And that is something we can control.
